The wheel arches are high but the hood is low. That is because all the mechanicals are snuggled down in between those relatively large 16 and 17 inch wheels and tires.

Actually the whole car is low and once it is dropped an inch or so to close up the wheel gap it will really look like a ground hugger.

I respectfully disagree. I think it is the best looking MX-5 yet. Of course, I have come to like the looks of my car. So who am I to judge?
