My plan may be to relocate the compressor, reduce piping bends, and enlarge the intercooler. similar to evasives FRS or the HKS protype drift car.

Hey guys..... I'm looking for an installation manual (in PDF format) for the version 2/3 of this supercharger. I've tried the HKS website, but could not locate anything for downloading.

I uploaded manual in my dropbox

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...%20%281%29.pdf

but this is old version.

there is new revised install guide in the supercharger box.
(more details included)

and you should know that driver side in manual means passenger side of LHD car.

People did. HKS said the opposite in the forum.

But given that the %-ge of false, incorrect and incomplete statements from them (at least in this thread) is like 50% - not surprise to me.

Not that much cutting actually. Just one part is modded irreversibly. Few others keep functiononality but you can't simply dismount the SC and say to your dealer that the car is and always has been stock - it leaves its marks

How long did it end up taking you? I know everyone is saying 6-8 hours but just wondering what you actually had. Any particular notes you would like to share?

I couldn't find anything about timing needing to be adjusted, so I assume I will be fine without a timing gun?

This isnt a 60's muscle car. Firmware reflash necessary.

Working complely solo, it took me ~14hrs including installing tune (this is from start to finish since I was renting a lift). I definitely took my time to ensure proper installation since I drive the car everyday.

I would suggest to separate parts according to the instruction steps prior to start. Also cut the hoses prior to start (just ensure you measure 3times before committing to cuts). This is a precision kit. With preparation I.e. making the suggested cuts it will bolt up like a factory part. My 2 cents. I'm out.

Thanks a ton for the feedback! I have two other people helping me so it should be pretty smooth especially with your tips.
