Thanks Garry. I appreciate the time, effort, and special care you gave my car. The pride in your work really "shines" through, no pun intended.
Hope you have a great Fathers Day as well.

Watched the video. Good god damn that's a shiny car. I need to find someone to do that around these parts...I don't enjoy detailing so this Opti stuff seems like a no brainer.

Give CMC Detailing a shot. He's local, if a little pricey, and did a fantastic job on my Evoque. I didn't do the OptiGuard (strongly considering it for my BRZ though) but I hear he does a great job with that as well.

Nice! I've been too busy to give him a call, but I will be doing new car prep (and I still haven't decided on Opti-Guard) with him once I get back with mine from Vermont. 17 hours of driving... I'm sure it's gonna need it bad.

Make sure you post pictures after he's done with it (there's an Opti-Guard thread somewhere in here)!

Thanks. I will let you know...I travel there for business fairly often...maybe some beer and wings with Dave-ROR. My next step is to get Dave to teach me how to autocross. Sh@t I feel like a teenager again! This forum has been great and so supportive and it is so nice to meet people with similar passions.

I'll PM you next time I'm headed that way.... Headed to Palm Beach next week for a work presentation and will pass the 1,000 mile barrier....Oh yes say hello to 7,500 rpms!

Congrats on getting the car.

I also managed to get the 1000 limp miles out of the way in the first few days (at 1522 now) Wish I's seen this thread a day sooner, as I just got done applying a coat of Zymol (2+ hours). Never heard of the Opti-guard before.
