what Bergen23 said make alot off sense (pressure washer)so in the future you should try it
With enough coats and given time to cure, plastidip will not come off even with a standard pressure washer. A commercial pressure washer could probably get it off but you risk taking off your paint as well at those pressures.

I agree, but it does have to be offset by something; either different colors or finishes. I like the front view of OP's car offset by the headlights, but the rear looks too dirty. See Asphalt Honda 919:

Honestly IMO plastidip the entire car matte black looks like shit.

It reminds me of the rednecks that spray their entire trucks with black Rhino liner.

Exactly...I had a 599...the one in front. The 2nd bike back is the same color, just a slightly different angle.

Ever since I saw this... http://www.toronto-subaru-club.com/f...s-updated.html

Skip to page 3 for the scary part

I've always been worried about PlastiDip-ing painted surfaces on the car. I'd be flipping shit if the paint came off with the 'dip.

Honestly.....$500 civic.

I don't understand what is so cool about making a car all black or matte black. Looks cheap, not good, not bad ass, not batman.

I think it looks fine.
I lined up behind an open wheel car at a time attack (one lap track autocross) and got pebble sprayed on his launch.

I bet that stuff can take a hit.. or just a shot of spray can if you get a nick. I sit inside.. and don't care how it looks much.

Actually it's not that durable. It will chip easier than paint and offer little to no protection to what's underneath. And touch ups will show.

FWIW, it's also a bitch to clean. Caked on dirt doesn't come off easily, as plastidip is porous. I've read stories of plastidipped white cars getting stains from windshield washer fluid, oil etc.

IMO, if you really want to change the colour of your car, vinyl is a far better option than Plastidip.

I think it needs a slight gloss like the Maserati in the prior page. I love dip but it tends to look too plain if you don't put some gloss on it..
