You're better off getting the Tomei UEL. I just bought mine last week and will be receiving it any day now. You will get it much more quickly rather than having to be strung along by Vishnu and their lack of support. I understand they may be back-ordered due to high demand, however, that is their downfall. Not worth the wait in my opinion. Plus you are supporting a USA made product if you go with Tomei as well.

Tomei is Japanese, not American

The welds on the Tomei are artwork.

For real? So it is just distributed in the USA? I wonder why I thought they were USA made...hmm

Yeah the whole header looks really nice. Have you guys done any thorough testing with the UEL Tomei header? I know they are pretty similar to most of the other UEL. I am hoping to get some good gains/sound out of it.

I remember the struggle. They hated me because I rode them so hard about getting it. Took like 4 months for delivery I think. but I have OFH #16 or so.. at least a year ago. Kinda sucks to see they are still struggling to meet demand

As promised, an update.

I received my OpenFlash Tablet today, sans Header. Timing was perfect as I was almost out of gas. Ran the tank till the light came on, fueled up with e85 and did the normal flash procedure to e85 stage 2 EL. Things seemed pretty stable right away, and the process was relatively painless.

I even recorded logs before, during the adjustment, and what I considered to be post-adjustment to the new fuel. All seems well so far. I wouldn't say there is a huge power bump, but it does feel more responsive throughout the power band.

I imagine a good set of UEL headers will finish off my modest power mods, mostly aimed at a few more ponies and majorly clearing up the torque dip right in the middle of my regular driving.

Feeling good, looking forward to more.

From what I have heard, it is what they do. "platform hoppers". Similar to clan hoppers in the days of CS 1.6

If you think this is bad, you should check what happened with the BMW community. I still think the OFT and OFH (if you can stand the wait) is probably one of the best bang for the bucks mods out there but if it wasn't for the support from some of the most outstanding forum members in the software tuning section (@steve99, @vgi , @Koa) I'd feel completely different.

Part of this is why I wish Cobb had released the AP for the BRZ. Oh well, makes no difference to me now since I've sold my BRZ.

I had an issue with my tablet not logging properly. They just stopped emailing me when I asked if there was anything they could suggest or anything they could do for me. Since then, I had sold my oft, then recently I wanted another one. I went through the trouble of pricing one out on their site. I didn't complete the order, but they were very quick to email me to get my payment info to complete the order...

I see where the priorities are for these guys now.

That's pretty telling. Thanks for the heads up.
