That is due mostly to living much closer to work. My cricket companions are alive and well but I hardly notice any more. I don't find myself out driving just to drive anymore but I do throw out the tail end when the urge strikes. I have also been much less active in the Dallas owners group, partially due to getting married and partly due to having less in common with them. Many of the newer members are deeply involved with modding and I am still not pursuing any upgrades until the car is paid off. I keep in touch with a few of the guys so I haven't entirely disappeared.

I do see more and more of the twins on the road and enjoy seeing the smiles on the other driver's faces as we wave and pass by. I have spoken to a couple who I encountered in parking lots and it always reminds me just how much I love this car.

One strange experience I had this year was a call from the dealer who sold me my car, wanting me to come trade it in. It seems that the resale market has been good and there has been several prospective buyers looking for used twins. Of course I turned him down, I will not be trading in my ride.

All in all it has been a wonderful 3 years and I continue to look forward to the day when I actually own the car and will allow myself to start tweaking it more to my liking. Here is to year 4 being a great one!
