Jaguar Simola Hillclimb 2015, here we come!

Anyone else going to the Jaguar Simola Hillclimb? If so, come say hi!

We are proud to have Scribante Racing as one of our close clients, and the team has alot cut out for them this year, going up against 1000bhp+ Nissan Skylines and Mitsubishi Evo's.

Scribante Racing were the podium 2014 winners in their Chevron B19, and all I can say, without divulging too much information...they have re-engineered this vehicle and its 2.0ltr N/A Cosworth motor to unimaginable lengths!

Here are a few pics of the car and it's new motor. There is still alot of work left to be done before the weekend, and we surely have our work cut out for us to finish off the MoTeC tune and datalog setup of the vehicle!

Newly modified exhaust manifold collector can be seen! It's LOUD! Lol

Johan hard at work finishing off the ancillaries.

New fuel injection setup below the intake velocity stacks.

A little update after today's racing - Historics:

Congratulations Franco in his Scribante Racing Porsche, engine built and tuned by Phoenix Performance, on coming 2nd in the historics heat after bring placed first the whole day - SO close 0.157 second difference between 1st and 2nd but a missed shift costing him the first place.

Overall, what at awesome weekend!

A last minute tire choice gamble set the team back, but overall the car performed flawlessly.

Franco placed 1st in his class and an overall 4th place for King of the Hill. Competition was strong and so close. Overall a great weekend of racing!

Congrats to Dezz for taking first!
