Looking nice man. I'm entertaining x10+18 with 225s. Thanks for doing you and dealing with the opinionated posters.

Well to each their own.
Should have known that this was a poser set up once I saw "VIP" in the thread title. Glad you enjoy your set-up, but I think you should put up a warning or disclaimer on the thread title if you don't want all the opinion that differs from yours. Personally I think you're wheels are ugly, looks like eddie vedder wearing wing tips. Just don't go together. Oil and Water. Stretching 215 on a 10" wheel is just D.U.M. dumb. In a nut-shell, My opinion is: You're car is the reason why California is in a drought, Global Warming, Justin Beiber, Terrorism, Bold and the Beautiful, Kimye... Pretty much everything that is wrong in the world. I'm glad you like it though!

Hey, if you can't take some positive feed-back on your wheels, don't put it out there.
You like going around bashing other people's wheels, but my philosophy is "Kill them with kindness.".

Here's one reason why your wheels are ugly, they match your fuel door.

my stock fuel door? so now your criticizing factory Subaru design and VIP modular. Do you have any professional design experience to back up when things are ugly in your opinion or are you just one of those go fast junky guys that loves turbos and rotas and spending money on anything that has no performance gains is pointless?

probably cause i didn't buy a base model. your stock wheels, front lip, side skirts, rear splats, brake calipers(lol painted), under panels, steering wheel, seats, shift boot, door cards, knee pads, and rear view mirror probably don't look like mine either

imo, that much stretch doesn't look good... 225 would probably look better...
not the style i would go with for my own car. i see your noted future adjustments, will look better when lower w/ more camber so that the wheels aren't way outside of the wheel wells... |

I have Rotas. They weigh six pounds less than stock and they fit inside the outer dimensions of the car.
I was actually asking a real question, I'm curious what the mindset is for wheels that wide that do nothing but slow the car down and reduce it's handling. If I made a post in the suspension section that said check out my new layout and it was a 5" lift with Mickey Thompson off road tires people would be WTF dude. I see no difference between that and what you are doing. Much like the groups of Hondas I see running around with 12" wheels and -15 degrees of camber. |

however now your just trying to hard with your comeback. If your seriously comparing lowering a brz with 3 piece wheels and subtle camber to a lifted brz with mudding tires you clearly are a piece of sht

Wow, with that condescending DB attitude, I'm sure you're not too far away from being 16. I feel sorry for you that you feel the need to lash out at people who don't like your set-ups. Must be awesome living in mommy and daddy's basement so you can afford all the nicest car parts!
