Speaking of meets... If anyone around here feels like starting something Id be down to meet up.

I would be down for one. I am in Texas right now for training, so I am only home on the weekends for a few weeks. Sundays are gunna be rough because I gotta drive back down to Wichita Falls for class on Monday, so Import Faceoff is out for me unfortunately. I know a few guys that have a BRZ or FRS on base I could try to drag out to a meet too. They may be on here somewhere also, never really asked.

Anyone else make it out to Import Face-Off yesterday? I saw one FR-S besides my BRZ. It was a whiteout with carbon aero, nice wheels and custom interior. It even ran a couple times on the track.

I made it out there, but my BRZ was out in the grass too. Yours was the white BRZ i assume? Looked great and I loved your tail lights. Where did you get that done?

Yep that was mine, I didn't really expect to win anything but I did work hard to get a few things done in time.

Thanks! I actually did the tail lamps myself, I found a good thread on here and used Duplicolor Metalcast Red and a fancy eurethane clear coat called Spraymax 2K. They turned out pretty good but some spots are kinda thin on the red and there's a bit of orange peel(probably a result of my limited painting skills).

P.S. It feels like the can is still pretty full if you want what's left of the Red. Definitely seems like enough to do another set(to me at least). Sadly though the clear coat is a two-part that is only good for 24hrs after you mix it.

Count me in for any possible meet opportunities. Looks like there is plenty of people willing, just need to have someone step up that's willing to name a time and place. I'm in Tulsa, if anyone wants to take the trip up I can arrange something. The Admiral Twin Drive-In is a possible venue up here. I know the person that runs the place. I might be able to get some accommodations if we had enough people. It’s still a good place to meet even if there is just a few of us. It looks like most of the people on this thread are more near OKC. I’d be willing to travel there if it’s more convenient for others. Let’s throw out some ideas.

yeah i was there too. i met mo8ius. i went searching for other brz's and frs's drivers. i came across convoy's white brz then went back to my brz and saw nubbster's wrb brz parked in between an sti and wrx. after i checked out mo8ius's asphalt, liked the pinstripe. im sorry guys but that guy draging the white frs made me so mad, i dont know about you guys but it made feel bad because he was either shifting wrong or whatever but he made the brz/frs's look horrible. after i saw his horrible drags, i actually went to try to register my brz for the drags but i was too late. @ convoy is it you that i mostly see on lake hefner park way going north and around the lowes on 39th and may?

It might be, but I can't say I'm around 39th & May very often. I do take Hefner Parkway North every day but I get on at 63rd.

Seeing as how this thread has picked up lately I figure I'll mention I registerered OKC86.com a month or two ago. I had planned on working on it bit I have been distracted by other projects. Does anyone think I/We should start putting something together? I was also worried that the OKC part might discourage owners from other cities?
