Yes, I also flash tuned it within 14k miles of having it with an fa20club tune. Than they sent out the updates for that the around the same time that Toyota sent theirs out

Alright, noticed this follow-up. Bottom line as I understand, the DI seals are very easy to damage when installing them. Unless one or more has actually failed there is no reason to preemptively replace them. The greater risk for failure would be from disturbing those now in service.

With respect to servicing any system, I have a standard saying. Either it will fail right away or it will last forever.

Let it ride.

edit: You would know it if you had damaged them. The popping sound from the failure is dramatic.

From what I was told by the SET rep when they replaced mine, there isn't even a part number for the seal itself. Toyota could source them from the injector manufacturer, but otherwise they come pre-installed on the injector. You need a special tool to get it onto the injector tip. Apparently, it's such a PITA that they just replace the whole injector because it's easier.
