My apologies if this is a hijack. I've read some h9 bulbs may be possible as exampled in the WRX, but have not been able to confirm.

Any knowledge gems here would be great.
You can buy brighter bulbs?

I run crystal eye headlights with a 55W HID kit and they are stupid bright both high and low beam. If you are willing to spend the $$ go that route. Also Spec D headlights are they same as mine I think?

Haha, but now you cant flash your highbeams very well. Also when you turn them off for oncoming cars doenst the warm up annoy you when you flip them back on?

Here's something cheap you can try... drive a car from the late 80's or early 90's at night for a few weeks. Then, hop in your FR-S and go for a midnight spin. You'll feel like you've got the light of two suns leading you down the road. There... a FREE upgrade!

I don't get all the complaints about the stock lighting. This car has the best visibility at night of any low-to-the-road car I've ever driven. Of course, I haven't driven much from this millenia..
