I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I usually don't like red on anything not made in Italy, but I think the shade they went with on the FR-S/BRZ looks amazing!

This is a good point. Actually, one way to nail it down/enhance your current skill level quickly is to break it down into 2 stages of practice.

1] Clutch isolation. Practice letting off the clutch very slowly without any gas on level ground. Repeat this meany times and take mental note of where you feel it engaging/where the car starts to move (aka the friction zone). Repeat this until you capture that "feel" in your muscle memory. This will program your left foot to operate so you won't have to think about it.

2] Clutch/gas combination. Apply gas very lightly at that friction zone. A bit more gas gets you past the friction zone sooner, a bit less means you stay in the friction zone longer. Depending on how well you've mastered stage 1 (clutch only), this stage should be cake.

I hate it when people stopped so close behind me... and my car would rolls back. I then would floor it and my wheels would make a lot of screeching noise.

First time driving manual? Did you learn before getting the FRS or is FRS your learning car?

Apply the parking brake when there is someone behind you and you won't roll back. Let the clutch out gradually and then release the parking brake when you feel the car starting to strain forward against the brake.

Nice work.

Red is the only color that doesn't make me cringe at the sight of the OEM tail lights.
