This car handles like a piece of crap...
...when you have to drive it with the spare tire.
F****** potholes, I had to get a new windshield a few weeks ago due to them too.

I hope you are not using a spare on the rear axle.

Cant tell if you're joking or not. Having two different sized tires (one spins fast than the other) on the back of a RWD car can mess with the diff.

Yeah, when you get a chance swap the spare to the front for the time being.
Sorry to hear the bad news; I had my windshield replaced due to a nice big rock last year, and thankfully it was slumbering during winter but I just took it out again and the potholes are still out in force! I wasn't planning on taking her out until May but the steering rack and shock assembly on my Audi just blew so it's down for the count. The culprit? You guessed it; POTHOLE!

http://techinfo.subaru.com/proxy/755...416ASTIS_7.pdf As others have mentioned, it will put premature wear on your diff for no reason other than mismatched tires. At best nothing happens. At worst you could have overheated pads, messed up rear brake rotors, or a damaged diff from the electronics of the car trying to compensate for difference in wheel speed + difference in traction. -alex |

It was on the front. I wouldn't have driven it for more than a day with the spare, luckily the tire place was able to get the correct tire otherwise I would have gotten a cheap winter or all season to use for the next month until I take the winters off.
I normally would have just used my other car for a day but it has no bumper cover at the moment.
