This one is pretty good, I think it's Arco? Hybrid steel aluminum build. I think I got mine for $100 but only certain stores carry it. I wish it was just 2" longer with a quicker slope to be low-profile.

Hmm I know Costco varies stock from store to store. That one actually looks better and lower than mine. I'll have to keep an eye out. Thanks for the info.

I believe this is the jack the OP was talking about... http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/mi...l#.VQpuUDBuq-I
I have one that is virtually the same thing except branded as Mastercraft. But I can't seem to find it on their website anymore. Using the product code (09-0226-6), it brought me here: http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/produc...romsearch=true But there isn't much info on it. Anyways, I bought this jack for $169.99. With the Aozora Lip Kit, the jack has just under 2 inches of clearance for the front bumper. I'm pretty happy with it.

Thanks for all the information! I'll take a look at that Torin model at Costco, the price is too good. I just hope it doesn't weight 150lb. For the guy from NV, this is a canadian thread, hence the different costco products.

The Torin takes forever to pump, but for the price, isn't too bad. One issue you may encounter though, is that it only lifts about 12 inches or so.
I replaced a 2.5T Torin with a Harbor Freight 1.5T low profile aluminum jack that does only about 13 inches. The main improvement is that the HF jack has a long lever (you can detach half of it) and can fully raise the car in about 5 pumps or less (the Torin takes about a million) |
