I'm still having fun developing, and getting a win here and there. With an automatic. :P

A person who sits on the toilet for a long period of time and does nothing either needs to do his business or get off the toilet.

And so you sit, saying for a long time how the twins are all wrong. Either stop doing so or get another car. Either way, you and everyone else will be happier for it.

What "race car" has an s2000 ever beaten in a top tier North American professional racing series?

"Real race cars" (according to some) don't have fenders... or doors... or roofs.

The S2000 wasnt legal to race in any 'top tier' racing series unfortunately.

However n Honda Challenge and the short lived Honda Cup, it most definitely faced stiffer competition than the rule set allows in TCA.

S2000 is a better (race) car. In stock form.
Im hoping that with development the FT can catch up.

I suspect with the strut front, thats gonna be hard to do.
Still keeping my fingers crossed that it will happen.

We've certainly made massive developments this year.

It will be interesting to see what happens at track events towards the end of the year.

Dude, these things are not FWD. MacPhail struts work just fine on the front of a RWD car.

The lack of dynamic camber means very little when you're working with RWD because you tend to run a higher roll stiffness setup in the front and softer in the rear so between a static camber, stiff front roll and a large caster angle the contact patch of the front tires is appropriately utilized.

To make up for this rather tiny advantage the S2k has, the FT does have a better CoG and a better drag coefficient. Last time I checked the S2k has the aero dynamics of a toaster oven. On tracks with long sweeping turns, fast transitions and long straights (COTA for example) the FT would have the advantage if Tire/gearing and P:W are equal between the two.

...theoretically...

So, the s2000 is a "race" car without a racing pedigree while the FT86 is a "grocery getter" with a racing pedigree as is the RX8, BMW Z4 and Honda Civic Si all of which have won numerous professional races and even championships. Thank you for clarifying that for me. I think I can see where you are coming from.
