It hard to enjoy anything when its -20 Fahrenheit. lol

This is my friends 04 Forester strut tower after running over a railroad track crossing. Salt KILLS. If you want your car forever like I do, storing it is a must.

Man...look at your car...i can tell it looks amazing from the avatar picture....it doesn't need to cost $100,000 to be special.

Like, if someone said, "2015 lambo or 2002 nsx r." I would choose an NSX over the lambo because i have a passion for japanese sports cars. Price is not a matter of anything...look at baseball cards...they cost 1cent to print, but sometimes sell for $100,000 to certain buyers.

I just want to keep this car for life, so i don't want to have rust issues....if i was planning on returning it/selling it, then i would also drive it all year long haha. I think many guys are in the same position in regards to those storing them.

All that is required if you are going to drive your car all year long is proper maintenance and it will last. Rust check every two years.

I drove my previous coupe for 15 years, 13 of them through Ontario winters. It was 20 years old when I retired it due to a broken pulley that overheated the engine. She didn't have any body/frame rust and it was never a seasonal car.

I guess a supercharger, Bilsteins w/ coils, tires and brake pads/fluid would bring this car to a practical maximum potential. Y'know what, maybe nix the supercharger, this car is great maxed out normally aspirated. In fact, its great as is, unless there is track time in the future.
As someone who ALSO owns a 2015 WRX and a FR-S, I love them for different reasons, sure the WRX is faster (and my 2010 WRX was even faster) but the FR-S is just so fun to toss around, and looks so good.
It feels like a hundred times better built Silvia/240sx (I owned an S13 Silvia) and it's just such a different driving experience with RWD vs AWD.

More power? Meh.. I've played the doubling output game with my Silvia, and you just end up fixing broken things all the time instead of enjoying driving the car.
