lol it's amazing when you go back to regular summer tires! It ALLLLMOST makes winter driving that much more enjoyable. Last year when I put my PSS's back on the car honestly felt so different it took me a few days to get used to it again.

One thing some people miss (not saying you are) is what kind of damage cold temperatures do to sticky tires.

Let a good set of tires get too cold just a couple times, and the compound is ruined. I do my best to never let my summers see below 5* under any circumstance, aiming for above 10*.

I'm almost considering a third set of wheels for the in between weather. Better than burning off good snow tire rubber, without ruining good summer rubber.

You're already too late. Yesterday was the correct day to do it. You'll have to leave the car in storage for a whole year and try to get it out on time next year.

On the serious: once it's above +5 it's probably good to bring it out. Might be nice to wait for pothole season to end, which should roughly coincide.

I dd my FR-S, but my Mustang (or any summer car) doesn't come out to play until I am sure there is no salt left on the roads.

Brought mine out April 7th last year when the snow was melting and washing away some of the salt on the road!

Besides the naughty salt, the huge snow banks are annoying - even in Mazda 3 that feels about elephant height after the fr-s, it hard to see cars. One more reason to like SUVs, probably a better view.
Last year I think it was first days of April that I got he car out.

In the GTA, it's showing that mid March will be +4-5 with rain, so all the salt should start to disappear than.

It's so funny actually, I save an Audi R8 driving around and I laughed with my wife saying how I store a 25k car haha

Even crazier...about 2 weeks ago I saw a Ferrari 458 in Richmond Hill driving...

Some people are so damn rich...what are there summer cars? Bugatti's?
