Any series.blue owners or lip/skirt owners drop their car?

if you guys are scraping at stock height, your not driving right. slow down and hit bumps or inclines on an angle and you'll never scrape. I'm 2.5-3 inches off the ground and i can go over a full size speed bump and not scrape at all.

I mainly only scrape on steep downward inclines. Speed bumps aren't an issue

Im also thinking on dropping mine... BUT roads in north jersey are horrible after the winter. Besides, i the series blue sti body kit makes the car look a big lower than regular model (but thats just me).

Either way im considering the tein coilovers street basic, i read many good reviews about them.

i'm assuming you carry some momentum into the worst part of the incline and go straight on at it then. in that case, lowered or not your gonna ruin the front of your car.

Are you saying you could drive over these inclines without a scrape, or that such task is impossible regardless of the lowering of the car?

i'm saying yes, i could drive over these "inclines" your referring too in stock height or lowered and not scrape.

I plan on getting Eibach Sportlines with 20/25mm spacers in about a month.
@adamg is right. I don't scrape the front of my car often. Speed bumps and inclines I slow down a lot and take them at an angle and I'm fine.

anyone running wheel spacers on the black 17 STI rims s.blue comes with?

there are lots pic with 20/25mm spacer on stock wheel, actually i brought spacer my self too. I just never put them on cuz my friend told me that spacer on my car will make the wheel gap look more pronounce so you just end up dropping it faster. *obviously a **** move from him for not telling me more earlier...........

So my brand new spacer just sits in my garage in original packaging...

I'm lowered about 33mm (1.3") on ST coilovers and scrape sometimes but the STI rubber skirt (from japanparts.com) I attached to the underside of my lip takes all the damage.

Thanks, I should definitely get it cuz last time I jacked up my car the underside of my lip is pretty scraped already..

I already scrap on steep driveways. Going at an angle helps. I'll be leaving mine stock.
