I have never seen one yellow. In fact whatever that material is would be great for clear front masking as it seems very resilient.
Mine has definitely yellowed. It's quite obvious on a Whiteout FR-S.

Arise ye dead thread.

Because the body shop bubbled it, peeled it off, and complained that no dealer had it in stock, I consulted my trusty 382 page parts list manual, went online and started looking at vendors. Here are the part #'s in case anyone is curious:

SU00303130 Passenger side
SU00303131 Driver side

It's about 20 bucks each. lol holy shit.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scion-TOYOTA...ZV6OzO&vxp=mtr

Almost $21.59 each on ebay not including shipping yikes! Guess it must be reiterated it's not worth removing it unless some body shop has to as was your case

Theres one of those on my hood just a quarter way up. I'm gona leave it because it will keep the hood from getting chipped up. Wife wanted to do it to her Kida but its pretty pricey. They wanted 500$ for it

I have that as well but I am peeling it off in the spring. Helps with small hits but the big stuff just cuts right through it and touch up paint looks like crap on it. Mine is starting to look a bit shabby and I figure in the long run I will be better off without it.
I spend a pile of time on the highway though and seem to get hit by the most random pieces of flying debris so am probably the exception not the rule when it comes to the film.

I'm mostly on freeway too. If its been on there thru the cars 43k miles it still looks good so I'll leave it. If the car has a good paint job its not really an issue. My GT onlt had few tiny chips in 14 years 139k

AHHHH see that is the catch. The new paint has to meet some very stringent international VOC reduction requirements and as a result it sucks. Not just this car but all cars made after 2013. There is no comparing the paint to how long any older car's paint lasted.
If the previous owner was mostly city the it will still look great but much time spent on the highway or back roads means it will take a beating.

Oh, and I do almost 50K a year so again am the exception.

Took mine off 2 years ago. It still looks great. Zero problems here.

50k a year? What's your odometer at now? Will you be buying a replacement in the next 2-3 years at that rate?

Leave it or replace it with a new strip unless you like dealing with chips and rust spots.

Just rounding up to 70K kilometers (44K mile) since Sept 14. This is about 20% lower than normal since one of the plants I work at was shut down for 4 months while the customer retooled their plant. In a "normal" year I hit 50K easily.
I get new every 5 years so still have almost 4 more to go. It is a hoot to see the salesman's face when we are talking trade in and they ask my mileage.
