I have an auto but have not experienced this problem. I only have 330 miles though.

I've got 1800+ miles on my Auto, lots of stop and go DD, and it has never happened to me. Based on other messages though sounds like it may not be limited to MT.

Yea I'm going to keep a close eye on things after my first fill up. Seems like a good chunk of us are only experiencing it with very low miles. This could bring it back to bad gas from the dealer.

How many time did you refill you gas after you got the car? Sometimes some moron dealer put cheap gas in there.

This is the reason I'm worried about first year production. Glad I'm waiting about 6 months for the next release

I don't blame you ihaskrayon but I love having first gen products, sometimes it's interesting to go through the post development process. Always learn from previous problems and help move forward.

I agree, as I went through all this with my 2004 RX-8. I know it can be worrisome and sometimes a bother, but as long as it's nothing critical it can also make you feel like you had a part in your car's development.

Yeah except you're paying Toyota/Subaru for the privilege, instead of the other way around!

I have a little less the half a tank left from the dealer. But all I can think about, is how they told me again and again to make sure that I only out premium. It made me feel safe for them to fill it up. I didn't stress much because I figured whom ever filled it up, did it right.

Meh well I'll know later this week if it was just bad gas. I'll keep everyone posted.

Or they might of put regular gas & notice the hiccup and figured out that you can only put premium. Lol

I had the EXACT same problem you are having after I disconnected/reconnected the battery on my car. Double check that all connections to the battery are tight, and then just rest easy knowing that it is the CPU resetting. Cheers!

My friend got a whiteout FR-S AT. I've driven it for about 80 miles. Didn't see any issue like that.

Edit 9/12/2012:
No obvious problem on the engine yet...
