And I want the stock parts as well so I can change back and get it fixed under warranty if anything goes wrong. Don't want all those papers that say "service done" cluttering up the glove box though so please don't provide those.

Exactly, as long as those crooked ass dealers don't refuse to fix my car. Couldn't have been the 400hp frs running a turbo kit that was welded together by a three year old and tuned by an asshat that blew the engine...had to have been the DI seals or a factory error.

Of course it was . Toyota has a master plan to have all these cars blow up after 50K so that they can charge twice as much for the AWD turbo 2016s! I heard a little squeak this morning so I know mine is going to grenade any second now!

<smiling> I guess we really did have different experiences. I'm still a little nostalgic for my '78.

Meet Pepita!

Anyway, since everyone is holding their breath in anticipation...

This 1992 Nissan King Cab 2.4L Diesel 4wd, 5 speed manual with high/low gear ranges is worth virtually nothing, and I paid just a little bit more than that for it.
I name all my cars. My GT86 is male, and I named it Darth 86. This one is definitely female, so I'll call her Pepita.
We had a wonderful drive home in the sunshine. She cruises effortlessly in 100 km/h at 3000 rpm in 5th gear.
This car has several advantages over the GT86:
- Will go where ever I need to be.
- Transport capacity.
- Trailer hook.
- Expendable.
- I can step on the throttle and keep my foot on the floor for a very, very long time, shouting "come ooooon!" I realized I've missed that. The only place I can do that in the GT86 is on the German Autobahn....
- I will never, ever be mistaken for a too-rich a$$hole in this.
I might be mistaken for a crazy hillbilly who took a wrong turn somewhere, ended up in the big city and has probably never seen a traffic light before, but I can live with that. It's not that far off anyway.

And one more thing... Some previous owner, back in the 90's, fount it prudent to install an Alpine stereo with some massive speakers in this thing. So it plays Black Sabbath louder and better than the Toyota audio system in the GT86.

Unless there is a pile I can't see that would qualify as "very little rust" here in Ontario!
I expected to see it missing up to the door handles.

Oh, that's her best profile. There is quite a bit if body rust and all the dents you expect to see on a work horse like this.
The frame, suspension, transmission and engine is quite sound though. Low milage too, considering the age.

Does anybody know if this lip will fit my 14 FRS?
I understand it is a special bendy one.

What model is that? I've never heard of a Subaru Trust before? Will it have AWD, factory turbo, and 4 doors?

Can't quite make out what it says on the fender but I believe it reads Freddy so maybe he can tell us?

According to this very informative article 89% of BRZ buyers believe it is AWD until there is an inch of snow so it must be true.

We all know that the only reason they could get away with equipping summer tires as original equipment is because of the incredible AWD system. Otherwise it would be a disaster in snow!
