I'm digging the look of those headlights...it's a shame Scion couldn't make the housing black to begin with...

Would it be possible for you to take a picture of your car a bit further back, and at the top down 3/4 angle you took earlier with your before headlights? I am considering blacking out my lights like you did (as well as a retrofit) but I just want to see a pulled back shot of your car (similar to your picture above with the front bumper off, good angle for comparison)
Love the results tho! Your car may have a close looking sibling in Saskatchewan soon haha. |

I actually took some pictures this morning, and I think I've got one like you're looking for. I just don't have a USB cable at work to get 'em off my phone...

I see the line I plan on leaving chrome! if I had wifi at work I would do a quick photoshop and show you what I mean. but I am going to try for a chrome line detail...if it works, could look good (I will do a lot of photo shop before I risk doing it for real haha)

Excellent to see! I'm not sure if I'll try and leave some chrome as well, I expect it will be difficult.
What paint did you end up choosing and did you buy more sealer to seal the lights back up?

I used a self etching plastic primer and then satin black - both Krylon. I didn't use any extra sealer as there was a healthy amount on the lights already. No condensation yet, and I've washed the car several times and it's been out in the rain a couple times. |
