I actually like the way these look over the stock fake vents, but not STX legal so I can't do it.

The non-painted ones are grey, like scale model ABS plastic. The ABS ones do come in some of the stock colors, but not Asphalt... black goes really well with Asphalt though.

More pictures:

To me they look way better than the stock piston junk pieces (which I NEVER liked, much prefer the BRZ fake vents to the FRS ones.) You really need to see them in 3D on the car though... comes across much better than in pictures. It would look even better without the factory "Dumbo" side mirrors; I've got an eventual fix for that though:

Just about the same width as the factory mirrors but a little over half the height and with convex mirrors. Just need to make the mounting plates for them and want to do JPM Coachworks door pads at the same time since the door card will need to come out - want to only do that ONCE!

4-5 light coats of Krylon Fusion Satin black, 2-3 coats Krylon Colormaster Acrylic Crystal Clear Gloss, then 2 coats of wax... not too expensive and provides really good results!

It's called "garnish" for a reason.

See that twig of rosemary? No one is going to eat that shit. Just there for looks!

Anyway, garnish you car as your heart desires, and BE HAPPY!!
