Their current lights have a small bar as well. We also have the window brake light and some people have the fourth brake light.

Just because you have another doesn't mean you need to neglect one (in this case the two brightest). Not only that but the fourth is useless in tighter traffic. Yes the other version does have a bar, but still has relatively large diodes/reflectors. This is a pencil width. I just can't see the justification for the lack of safety. I'm not sure if they share the same fuse, but suppose your 3rd brake light fuse blows and you don't have the 4th brake mod.

According to the rep, they have not passed DOT yet and still do not know if they will be importing them into the U.S., Maybe the Brake light is keeping them from DOT approval?

Cracked my tail light earlier this month. Waiting for these to replace them. lol

It's production delays. Eta is end of year at this stage.

I sent out another Email regarding the tail lights. Last we heard middle of May were DOT issues, they have just stopped responding to emails since then. Any updates and we will post here first

Haha everytime this thread gets bumped , I postpone buying the the TOMs since I like this one better.

So I had a chat to Valenti today and here's the situation on these tail lights.
Don't expect them until sometime 2016.
Unfortunately the manufacturer has a backlog of orders and it delays when they will be produced. Everyone has to wait in line and any delays sets the rest back.
If things speed up then maybe we see them earlier but I would just sit tight until next year.
