All the Type-A owners, plus the ones in the queue are all serious competitors looking for every bit of power. Pairing this header with the front pipe provides significant power gains over stock. We have not seen such a huge gain in power just from the front pipe alone before so this is surprising for us.

ACE made the fabrication process more efficient and decided to do what other manufacturers are doing, which is the slip joint welded setup. The converging angle allows for better clearance and makes installation a little easier as well. That is the Type-B version. We expect the Type-B to perform similarly to the Type-A but gains will not be 100% of the Type-A. Quantitative data will be pulled soon when our test vehicles are available again.

All this testing takes time and a large budget. We appreciate all the supporters for all our efforts, which allows us to continue to provide ongoing support and information for the community.

ACE is not a factory. That is the key difference.

You do realize that many "JDM" OEM brands contract Taiwanese factories to produce their "JDM" products, right?

Which would you consider less sensitive to cushy stock engine mounts? I have a buddy that had all kinds of trouble with a cracking overpipe whose manufacturer shall remain nameless.

The type A 350 ACE has been on my car for more than a month. So far no rattling against the frame.

No issues with either version (Type A or Type B with 350 collector). We have had this on our car for some time and our mounts are probably the most beat up and heat cycled out of anybody here.

We definitely recommend the Type A for those looking to save every single ounce of weight and getting every bit of power with a reputable tuner. All of the owners of this header who purchased from us are serious drivers.

The Type B is the same in performance with the Type B but with slightly added weight (pretty marginal to be honest). Turn around time with the Type B is a little quicker. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

The TEIN SRC and N1 are identical, however, the N1 is lighter by 30% because it's a race coilover vs. the SRC. Type A and Type B are of that nature.
