Paid $19,000 for 2013 Ultramarine FRS with 10,450 on the dash. few nicks in the wheels but I'm getting new ones anyway. 1 Owner. Traded in for WRX because he needed to upsize for his family.

I took kind of a calculated gamble on mine... I knew if I waited another month or so I could get a cleaner car with lower mileage and possibly shave anywhere from $100 - $1,000 off of what I ended up paying... But I reached a breaking point and said to hell with it when I found the automatic I wanted in my first choice of color.

Ended up paying $17,700 out the door for a used 2013 Base Asphalt with approx 34,000 miles.

It was a multi-owner car with a few mods done to it, adding to the gamble of the purchase - but on the bright side it had no damage (other than a few minor scratches and regular bumper wear and tear) and aside from a few minor freakouts on my part, I've had no issues with it.

Funny story though, when calculating the OTD price the dealer originally transposed two numbers and was charging approx. $17,400 - I picked up on the error pretty quickly (I guess there are some benefits to being an accountant) but kept my mouth shut...

The sales manager noticed prior to final signatures and came back profusely apologizing, a part of me regrets not feigning a "walk out" at that point and seeing whether they caved on the lower price and / or bluffing my way into some extra goodies...

I think ultimately I just let it go since this whole process / decision was essentially the culmination of 1+ years of research / looking for a car that fit me - and I just wanted to get out of that damn 2002 Honda Accord

Moral of the story: There are reasonable deals to be had out there, whether or not you find one depends on your persistence and the length of time you're willing to wait.

trade in value?

Another way of determining the prices is also what one gets from the dealer when they trade in their FR-S ..mind you those people are probably not on this forum any more...but just on the off chance...how much did you get for your FR-S/BRZ on trade in for something else?

I was actually second in line after someone offered to trade in their car for it.
Waited a day and got approved over the other dude.
Couldn't be happier.
Nice I think I got Hosed a bit on my deal lol paid $28k with 15,000km on it!
But I got it under coated and a few add ons so maybe it wasn't too bad of a deal after all, either way I love my car!

I'd rather get a new car for that price.

Bought a used 2013 auto transmission w/ 50k for $16k - was a good deal imo, 1 owner, no accidents, brand new brakes tires and oil from a reputable dealership.

Anyone know how much it would cost to have all 4 brakes, pads, rotors replaced w/ factory parts?
