Thankfully, we don't have to deal with drunk drivers here. Penalty is very high. I'd break his jaws if my neighbor did this.

Just got back from the body shop. I was quoted around $1300 for the repair. I sent that over to the guy that hit me, we'll see how he responds, and if he still wants to pay for it out of pocket.

The rear quarter panel isn't really a panel at all, it's a part of the unibody.
