I personally prefer being able to use the key mechanically. Around my area there are lots of places that are frequented (grocery stores, theaters, etc.) with high power transmission lines pretty close to the parking lots. Remotes and the like often do not work in these areas due to the interference from the transmission lines. Also keeps the costs lower without needing the whole system. May not be much in the grand scheme of things, but it's still something.

most new cars have the docking feature now.. started in eouropeans a few years back, yes the s2K has the mechanical key barrel, with a button start instead of a barrel start, but that car was designed and made in the last millenia so its "ancient" technology :p (JUST FUCKING JOKING)

i remember hearing you could have your usb in there and go say around sazuka in it and then come home to your ps3 and plag the usb into there and race yourself(like the ghost feature) in GT5
