not really...the s2000 has push button start, but you have to put the key in the hole(correct me if im wrong), alsa I think Porsche did that as well at one point, but I want to say they do it closer to how Mini does it where you insert teh ket fob into a docking system of sorts

I personally prefer being able to use the key mechanically. Around my area there are lots of places that are frequented (grocery stores, theaters, etc.) with high power transmission lines pretty close to the parking lots. Remotes and the like often do not work in these areas due to the interference from the transmission lines. Also keeps the costs lower without needing the whole system. May not be much in the grand scheme of things, but it's still something.

most new cars have the docking feature now.. started in eouropeans a few years back, yes the s2K has the mechanical key barrel, with a button start instead of a barrel start, but that car was designed and made in the last millenia so its "ancient" technology :p (JUST FUCKING JOKING)

Japanese keep all the good stuff for themselves. Can't see my local track making the list...

Hmm, Suzuka... my ex-gf lives in Nagoya, right by there. I think it's less than an hour to Suzuka and 2 and a bit to Fuji Speedway from her place.
