My point was basically, don't sacrifice your happiness. If you have the right woman she won't want you to, but she'd also speak up if the family can't afford something. Yes priorities change. Yes compromises sometimes need to be made for the better of the group, but even in marriage you should still have some things you enjoy doing/having for yourself.

I can't get attracted to submissive women, they bore me after a while. Willing to make sacrifices makes you feel more complete, not sure how to really explain this, but all my life I've done everything just for my self, or gave something in hope to get something bigger in return (favor, sex, etc.)

My understanding is that a sacrifice is giving up something you LIKE/LOVE to achieve something greater. Trust me, I'm not getting a minivan here and turning in my man card. I don't have multiple designated spaces in a condo, and with my wife driving her car, the business SUV, Volvo C30 swing shifts and the BRZ, it just sucks.

If getting a S3/GolfR/STI and selling the BRZ is a sacrifice, that's not too shabby. First world problems.

Hey, Wait a minute… Isn't the MB R500, a minivan? While my kids were young, my wife and I went through 3 minivans. It was her car, but I tried to convince her to get a VW Passat Wagon 5 speed manual. She was ok with the idea of having a wagon, but she really wanted a minivan.

Our last minivan was a loaded Toyota Sienna XLE. I really liked that van. It was especially nice when I brought home my 65" plasma TV.

I still have my Man Card! :thumb up:

BTW, the S3 would be a great choice, too!

No bro, its a cross over , trust me my friends always joked about it. I needed something for my work/self, and that car treated me well. And I don't think I ever saw another R500, it was usually an R350.

Next car I'm going to buy is a Mazda5 minivan to replace my wife's elantra. My FR-S will stay put.
