Oh ok! The unpainted center cap gets my vote.

WOW.. Did not know the OEM wheels could look this good!
Nicely done! Always wondered how they would look when painted dark.

about 1 & 1/2. they key was not over spraying them and just doing it in layers. I went 50% opacity on the first coat and just let it dry for a few minutes. Did another 2-3 layers and touch ups.

Sure, I'll explain how I did this. I painted it quickly but I also did it carefully.

What'll you'll need: 2 cans of plastidip, clean wheels, approx. 1 hour, newspapers or painters tape
When: Warm day and a little sunny (avoid wet days and maybe extremely hot sunny days)

1. Clean the wheels and make sure all the dirt and dust is off the wheel.

2. Completely dry the wheels. Make sure you get it all!

3. You have to cover the brake calipers and rotors. I chose not to take my wheels off my car. I put newspaper between the wheels and the rotors. MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETELY COVER THEM. You are going to overspray and you don't want it messing up your new ride.

4. Start with a simple and light first coat. Hold the can 6-7 inches away from the wheel and shoot short burst of plastidip on the wheel. You'll still see through the coat (think 50% opacity). This will set up the next coat so it has something to stick too.

5. Wait 10-15 minutes and spray again. I sprayed a little more this time but I still was 6-7 inches away and shot it on the wheels in short bursts. Just graze back and forth with coverage and don't spray too long. You want to avoid drips and streaks.

** I did 2 additional coats and after the initial first coat **

6. My last coat (fourth) was a touch-up coat getting all the spots I missed or didn't complete. I just wanted solid black coverage.

7. Let the plasitdip dry for a few hours.

8. OPTIONAL STEP - Peel the plastidip from the center caps by causing a tear on the plastidip that's in the middle of the cap. You can create the tear with a coin (think a scratch off lotto ticket - just do it lightly to avoid scratching the cap). You can peel it up and it will tear at the edge of the center cap (it really works).

DONE! I would recommend wearing a mask and taking a few breaks away from the car in between coats. I tried (and recommend) to avoid inhaling this stuff.

I hope this quick guide helps. Feel free to PM ME with any questions.

Thanks! I might do this tomorrow after I'm done getting my windows tinted, provided I have enough time before I have to get to work. Couple of questions, where can I buy this any auto-parts store? ( I have 0 experience with plasti dip) And would just jacking up the car for each tire and putting on the spare while I'm spraying it work? Or do you think that is just too much trouble, I'm very paranoid about getting it on the calipers/rotors.

You can get black plastidip (and a variety of colors) at Home Depot. Just make sure you get plastidip - http://www.homedepot.com/buy/paint-s...ay-192848.html.

I just made sure I covered the rotors and calipers completely. You can take the wheels off the car if you feel more comfortable. It's just going to take longer to jack up the car and do each wheel 1 by 1. I didn't have any issue with overspray. Just be careful and take your time.
