The way they have handled this and treated me in email shows very, very poor business practice.

Nothing more needs to be said here. My money was refunded after much hassle and this thread was created to warn others about this company.
Except all the other DSG feedback threads tout their good to great customer service....

This thread was created to show my experience with a specific vendor, there's no need to comment if you don't have any additional pieces of information related to a similar incident. Yes I've been in the market for this kit specifically; my plan has been to buy it from OpenFlash for $3800 in a couple months but since their sale had it for a couple hundred cheaper I decided to order from them instead. Turns out that was a huge mistake.

What I had to say has been shared and viewed by hundreds of members. Let's just leave it at that.

Yes, let's ignore the history of positive customer service interactions they've had with the members of this site, unlike several other vendors...

You're more than welcome to create your own thread with your review of them, if you've ever even done any business with DSG.

Seriously Akari you indeed do sound like that crazy lady screaming for a manager. If their sale explicitly said 20% off select items that did not include the supercharger, and you intentionally knew that but used a fault of their system against them, then you're trying to pull one on these guys and that right there is despicable.

If the sale banner and page included the kit then of course, most forum members would be on your side about this. But since this is obviously a whine-because-I-couldn't-exploit-money situation, thread should be locked and people should draw their own conclusions.

I love playing devil's advocate. Did anyone look at the thread:

The key words there are "& More". I don't think there was anything wrong with assuming that they were offering 20% off on the Vortech supercharger as well. With that being said, a company is never required to sell a product at an advertised price and can refuse to sell an item to a customer. That is their choice, and that is why a thread like this exists.

Yeah, the whole sale on all these brands and more, sale prices will be active when you add an item to your cart...

I added it to my cart, saw a slightly lower price(~10% lower than other vendors which doesn't seem insane) and expected it was part of the sale. I don't see how that's some kind of unreasonable assumption, it's not like I was paying $300 of the entire kit or something.
