What would be nice, would be pre and post charge cooler temps shown over the course of a lap, with multiple laps shown on the same graph. If the system is truly at equilibrium, the multiple laps will line up more or less on top of each other. I've used a similar setup before on the graphs I post to show consistency across multiple laps, not just a single good flyer. Jake |

I've run the cos kit 2.3 all summer daily in Texas. Stock radiator... I do believe the kit works very well. I can clarify some of the questions about coolant and oil temps in diff conditions. Temps have never been a worry with my setup after a few 2 hour mountain runs up to 95deg and all day driving in 100+deg. Highest oil temps i noticed were ~230deg , and 195 coolant mostly in traffic, on the hottest days of medium-hard driving. 80deg days i rarely see over 210 oil temps and 170-180 coolant temps. I can't wait to see how it performs in winter. How heavy is Edelbrock manifold/sc piece?

I'm sure it's the worst they saw that day, but that ambient temperature is hardly something to brag about, you know? That's not a "hot" day for most of the world. There's a reason automakers haul cars down from Detroit to Texas racetracks to test in the summers.

Regardless it does show the heat exchanger setup is very effective. I look forward to seeing the Edlebrock and Harrop test data for comparason. Thanks |

Might be a dumb questions...
This might be a dumb question but, would it help to use a low temp Thermostat like in the Cosworth package (version 1.0 IIRC?) I was planning on doing both the Mishimoto Thermostat and Oil Cooler with the Edelbrock.

The thermostat governs the lowest coolant temp your engine (should) will see. No need for it, IMO.
