I liked the 86, and there is a part of me that regrets the decision (particularly after watching the videos back)
I wanted to free up a bit more money due to a house build, the 86 was only really used on track and is a bit expensive for me to drive it into a wall. I didnt want to strip it out etc as it was still a nice car.

Honda is cheap, and just as exciting to drive if not more so imo.

Ah okay. I know exactly what you're talking about if wrecked. The reason why a lot of people build these little Honda's since the cost of entry is relatively small and if wrecked, getting another shell is like $500 away.

Did you get much life out of the NS2R's? Did you run 180 or 120 tw versions? I'm currently running a pair of 180‘s on the front of my mr2 since I couldn't get a full set since the size I need for the rear are out of stock till spring 2016.

I wouldn't mind trying a set on the stock FRS wheels in stock sizing.

Exactly! This is why I nearly sold my car. The idea of putting it into a wall was a bit upsetting, but at the same time they are coming down quite a bit in price and there is no shortage of parts available to rebuild them. You have to really f*^k up to make it irreparable. The way I look at it is, still cheaper than a cayman, 911, gtr, evo, etc... and nothing stops those owners from going.

I used the 180 TW versions, got 2 supercharged full track days out of them, plus 4 other track days, a couple of these were only 2 hour sessions though, also done approx 8,000 miles. This was in 235/40/17 size, would expect a smaller tyre to wear a bit quicker.

I found them decent especially for the price.
