I liked the 86, and there is a part of me that regrets the decision (particularly after watching the videos back)
I wanted to free up a bit more money due to a house build, the 86 was only really used on track and is a bit expensive for me to drive it into a wall. I didnt want to strip it out etc as it was still a nice car. Honda is cheap, and just as exciting to drive if not more so imo.

Exactly! This is why I nearly sold my car. The idea of putting it into a wall was a bit upsetting, but at the same time they are coming down quite a bit in price and there is no shortage of parts available to rebuild them. You have to really f*^k up to make it irreparable. The way I look at it is, still cheaper than a cayman, 911, gtr, evo, etc... and nothing stops those owners from going.
