Dave, how do you rate the transmission in comparison to your ITR? I have been looking for a change to my current 350Z (clunky transmission). I drove a S2000 recently and the difference was just night and day. The manual transmission shifting is very very important to me in my next choice for a autox/track/dd car.

My car has harder bushings in the shift linkage.. it feels a little more direct than the BRZ. Overall the BRZ is still the nicer shifting transmission though, think between an S2000 and recent Miatas. No where near as good as the S2K though, but no car is.

I've never really drivin a car that felt much better than B , K, and F series trans missions... and the difference in feel is so much better between B and K transmissions. It is hard to explain unless you have drivin one. LSX motors have the worst transmission's attached to them when it comes to shifting feel LOL.

Nah, Porsche 944s have the worst shifter feel in the history of the Automobile.

Followed by the Borg Warner T-5 in the Mustangs and older F bodies.

And eventually the T56...

Never had the pleasure of driving a 944, but they sure have a place in my heart for looks... something about them. As for the fox bodies you are totally right, how could I forget the nightmare they are to drive HAHA.

You seem to be confusing OE transmission feel and OE shifter feel. The OE shifters in my GTOs were absolute dogshit. The Hurst I put in my first one was little better. The GMM shifter I put in my second GTO was like an oiled Remington 700 bolt.

Additionally, put 600lbs/ft of torque through one of those little Honda transmissions stock and tell me how well it shifts.

That is just a class looking car. Plus I love the Mid-Ohio backdrop. I have spent so many great days at that facility.
