Yup. Tune got rid of the dip, not the header.

Tune did with the header....A tune alone will not completely remove the dip...nor will just the header

I agree that the tune was vital, but not sure it would have the same result with a stock header. Do you happen to have any dyno graphs that show this?

Tune with certain headers is vital to removing the torque dip. ft86sf original UEL removed the dip w/o a tune.

As far as tuning on a stock header... I have not met or been informed of anyone tuning a stock twin with the primary goal of removing the dip.

Dip has always been a secondary concern with # whores.

All you have to do is lower the power everywhere but the dip. Easy.

i am sure header and tune could not remove dip

dyno for stock brz never shows it's driving character at lower rpm.
be sure jdl could not completely flat it.
