I don't hate it, but sometimes I wish it wasn't so hectic all the time.

Should be some pictures in this thread.
I tested V3 of the Cold Air Intake all weekend long. Looks like we found a variation that works. -Don |

I know your a busy guy, but during the testing phase with the SRI on your car, have you noticed any real world heat soak issues? How does it feel compared to the stock airbox?

No heat soak issues that i've had in DD. However other than a 10 min spirited beatdownl, I've been driving it normal.

Little update from today. Went and did all new data. #'s were all off so we had to do new baselines to test another version of the cold air which doesn't work.
Heres a Picture for now.

Pay no attention to the crazy peaks in the graph. Thats just our wideband connection giving us trouble again.
Its 99 Degrees in the shop today and about 2000% humidity. I can't stand to be here any longer. Run 14 Short Ram Intake - Power looked to be down. So we decided to baseline again. Figure the terrible weather here was the culprit. Run#15 and 16 are back to stock setup but without the air horn in the front of the bumper. Run #17 I had been testing the long cold air all weekend long and it felt great. Well it made great power but it is just far to lean for comfort. Scratch that version as well. -Don |

Still the original version has given the best results hands down. The short ram is still the best viable option so far.

So we've updated the Short Ram System again. Found a much better curve w/ this new diverter system were trying.
Again disregard the small air fuel blips. I still haven't fixed the connector on our air fuel meters.

Baselines were from a few days ago in the heat. HP is up a bit. The midrange feels much stronger now. This bests our previous by 1hp everywhere and has a much smoother curve. Torque is not in this graph but remained the same around 140ft/lbs.
The only modification here is the short ram intake system. |
