This looks awesome!! I'm thinking of doing this, but spraying the housing with a matte black (plastidip maybe?). I love the edge you did, and the reflective parts painted with niteshades.

Also, you seem to really recommend that tape you used, but the link is dead... can you update the link or tell me what kind of tape that was?

I've wondered what doing this would look like, excellent job! Very professional. I'm curious though, does it effect the brightness the lights? Especially the turn signal.

No effect on the brake light if you paint it like @poorsche did. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to paint the inside rather than paint the lens. The turn signal is noticeably dimmer though, I might consider switching to LEDs. I'll try and post a picture in the next few days.
