Nope it was my first wreck in 20 years. He meant rocket bunny with more speed I think


Still no estimate, I'm worried more about what happened to the undercarriage/suspension after hitting the curb head on. When I went today to take pics the left side tire was flat.

Make sure you check;

control arms
suspension mounting points
engine and transmission mounting points both the ones on the components and the chassis
the frame alignment on a frame machine, these cars are designed to crush to protect you
choose the bodyshop, insurance companies have contracted bodyshops that work on the cheap for them. you want it done correctly not cheaply

Best you'll get is a betterment in which they will pay a portion of the tire cost and leave you to pay the rest. Basicly they take tire cost and decduct the cost depending on the tread left on the tire.

So the accident report says its his fault, yeah? If so, just let insurance handle it. Mention the tires and suspension points to them and make sure its checked by a reputable shop.
