Hi guise!
The name's Skip and I bought a 2014 SWP BRZ Limited last weekend. I have some pics but they're all too big to upload....looks like I'll have to unearth my photobucket account and start uploading... I live in Lafayette, La and I'm interested in meeting some other twin owners! I graduated from a heavily modified 2003 Honda Accord and I worked for Acura for almost 9 years as a technician (started out as a lube tech). |

Hi, I just picked up a slightly used (2,000 miles) 2013 DGM BRZ about 2 weeks ago as my new daily driver. Really enjoying the car so far and can't wait to get it out to a track.

I'm new here, just bought a SSM brz limited 6mt a few days ago. This will be my second subaru, had a 2013 sti for a year before I traded it in for a jeep which I then used to trade in for the BRZ. This car is so fun to drive and I'm soo loving it!

I just placed an order for a 2015 BRZ Limited in WRB. It will be replacing my 2012 WRX Limited that I purchased new in April 2012. I followed the development of the BRZ since the beginning (since about 2008) and I remember when this site was created. I wanted a BRZ in 2012 but I wasn't able to get one before I needed a car. Now the WRX is paid off, and it is time to move on. I love my WRX and it's going to be hard to hand over the keys. I foresee another one in my future.
I am a mechanical engineer, and work for a diesel engine manufacturer doing engine controls. I live in Iowa, which has a complete lack of fun roads. Fortunately Wisconsin is less than 2 hours away, and there are some good driving roads by the Mississippi River. Iowa actually has a good Subaru enthusiast following, despite our generally boring landscape. Some of my many hobbies include photography, travelling, hiking, and homebrewing. I ordered from Heuberger in Colorado Springs. I plan on taking a vacation when my BRZ arrives; Colorado has some excellent roads waiting to be driven. I don't have much planned for the BRZ as far as mods are concerned. One of my motivations for getting the BRZ was to prevent myself from really modding the WRX. I'm going to try to maintain the integrity of my warranty! That being said, I plan on getting new wheels and tires fairly soon. I will also install some LED lights and a TapTurn. I haven't kept up with the FT86 scene much in the last two years, and I have some reading to do. Anyway, I look forward to sharing ideas with you guys again. Its been a long time since I posted here last. Maybe I will meet some of you in the future. Jason |

Hey, everyone.
I am currently awaiting the arrival of my 2015 WR Blue BRZ Limited from port. I'm new to Subaru (and Toyota), having been a loyal Honda enthusiast for the past 11 years. I always dreamed of one day owning an S2000, but ultimately decided on the BRZ after reconsidering some key differences between the two. I currently own a mostly stock 2000 Civic Coupe, so I think the BRZ will be a breath of fresh air as far as handling and even power output go. I'm sure I'll have a lot of a questions as time goes on, but this seems like a great community to start at! Last edited by dtgtheone; 06-11-2014 at 02:57 PM. |
