What do you call a Springfieldian that can read?
A miracle.

How do you find the richest person in Springfield?
Look for the biggest trailer.

How can you tell when you've crossed over from Eugene to Springfield?
The smell of weed is replaced by the smell of meth labs.

My favorite though, is from when I was in history class a few years ago. My teacher was from Springfield, and he was explaining the living conditions of 16th century England. "Garbage was everywhere, there were sick people living out in the cold, and human feces covered the streets." From the back of the class, a friend of mine yelled out, "That sounds just like Springfield!" The whole class almost died laughing.

Just read your story out loud to my wife. We both just about pissed ourselves. Good on ya!

The best road I found to drive is called Briggs Hill, off of Spencer Creek Rd, in the SW part of Eugene. It's really short, but there is a small section of quick, steep downhill turns with drop-offs on one side. It doesn't last too long, but it's fun while you're driving it. It also gives some beautiful country scenery, and will let you out on to Territorial Hwy, and from there, you can take Crow Rd , which has one of the longest straights in the Eugene area, back to W. 11th. I recommend that you go from the Spencer Creek side, because it's more fun going down.

There are also a couple loops that you can do around the area, just bring a GPS, and maybe a radar detector, and go exploring.

Oh, and a side note about Briggs Hill, it's best to do it when it's dry, kinda hard to do in Eugene (except for this summer...), because I've done it when the road was a little wet, and the tail really wants to step out, even at low speeds. And with the drop-offs, there's not much room for error...

The other road I've found that is pretty good is Dillard Rd, off of E Amazon Dr, (Keep right at the fork on Dillard, just past the residential area). There are a couple of uphill hairpins, and a pretty good elevation change throughput the road, that ends in another long straight. It ends up right over I-5, an I usually just turn around, and go back.

None of these roads are particularly exceptional, but I've found they are the best the Eugene area has to offer.

I also think we should get a group of 86 owners from in/around Eugene and go tear up some of these back roads and/or find some new ones. Or at least set up some meets around here, because I know there are at least 7 of us, and I only know Mr Kirmudget...
Cool thanks for the info would definitely love to get a group started and go drive. Ive seen way more 86 up here than I thought I would at least two other were I live

Hahaha... It just stopped hailing moments ago. Tomorrow is supposed to be partly sunny, no? I'd be good for meeting somewhere in between to go tooling around. We could meet at @paiceyfan's place and hunt critters.

I didn't drive it in the snow. To many idiot drivers. But in the rain and stuff it handles nicely.
