I've had Opti-Coat on my car since February and its holding up well. So far no swirls and it does look waxed without having to apply wax. I still use a spray wax on it though for an added layer of protection against bugs and bird droppings.

I DIY opti-coat whole car first. Then I wrap pre-cut XPEL on half hood, front bumper, and half fender. Then opti-coat on wrap area again. Its holding up very well for one year now.

I didnt put XPEL on rock panel first time. And end up getting TRD side skirt to cover up dent. So I would recommend to wrap rock panel as well.
