Perrin's numbers make sense--I'm sure they leaned it out some and so did you. Why are you getting three times (depending how you calculate it) their numbers in terms of horsepower gain? Are you advancing the timing more? You can't be doing much with cam phasing because there's very little cam phasing near redline.
I guess all you can do is assume.

But there were 3 dyno graph put up - two in which had similar results.

I can't speak for Perrin.

But Ben@Lachute and I were working together on the flash/tune - this is why you see similar results between both our graphs.

There are a bunch of people here all doing the same thing - trying to make this car the best it can be.

And I don't plan on stopping !

EcuTek hasn't released the software to other tuners yet.

EcuTek also has cables so you car could be e-tuned.

Looks like you're the closest to me. I believe I've definitely decided on the SRT exhaust. I also need to pick some headers and an intake over the next few months. Then I shall be paying you a visit

As for any skepticism, I know my mileage may vary and everyone else should realize the same. Therefore all I care about is that I see progress.

nice gains! Was wondering was is your affiliation with Nightshift Performance? I'm a good friends with Roman and will actually be stopping by the shop very soon! Great job on tuning!

Jon, I think it would be best to let people know that individual results may vary. I'm impressed with what all of you guys have been able to accomplish. I just don't want new people to tuning to EXPECT these number quid pro quo.

I speak from experience, no two cars are alike, what you are trying to do is remarkable in itself (a stock tuner that makes power for all) and I commend you. I think what Arghx7,s issue is that THIS car made 18whp, and it may not be standardised because of vehicle differences.

I know that when I tune Evo's yes there is a base map that I start with, and some like it and I can add more timing, decrease fueling, however on the exact same map with a different car I may have to leave it alone, or knock is present so I have to pull timing, or add fuel. You know what I mean.

As I have said many times I applaud your efforts, I just don't want people to expects these kind of results automatically.

Rant over, no to your regularly scheduled program.

G

BTW it does look as though perrin is using a different ramp for the cam phasing, for what it's worth...

Thanks

Based on datalogs of other cars and lachutes dynosheet results seem very repeatable between different cars.

Cam timing plays seems to play a huge role with Hp.

When trying different things out with cam timing i was able to lose 30whp from the original baseline.

Anyways this is only the beginning , more results soon

so is it possible to purchase the tuner and have it waiting for when the tune is done? Would be pretty awesome if that was the case.
