So I met a guy called Dave driving a Lexus ISF and his son was taking picture and he got some cool shots of me on the Skidpad on sunday.

Didnt make the Track but there were some brave guys who were on it will all that rain.

They close in December and I was informed that the next day will be the 11th of January.

Looking at investing in a GoPro soon,

Do you think there are any benefits in getting Hero 4's (Black/Sliver) as opposed to Hero 3's(White/Silver/Black) or just the usual Hero...?

Lol maybe I am posting this in the wrong forum, but I am sure everyone reading this did consider purchasing a GoPro

I have a normal Hero HD (getting a bit long in the tooth) which is sufficient for me given that I use the videos for personal use. So my suggestion would be if you want to use it for personal use maybe look at getting a used HERO or HERO 2 online.

But if you got the bucks to spare or looking at more professional use (like RAW output) get yourself a Hero 3+ black or maybe a Hero 4 silver minimum.

Problem i noticed with my Hero is that especially when using in wet environments the video (i think because the lens was round) is blurry in the center once water splashes onto the camera. And you only notice this once you viewing your videos. So I now wipe the camera after each take. The hero 3 and 4 have square lenses so i dont think this is an issue with them.

I would suggest the Hero 3 up because you will also get more spare parts. Batteries etc.

15th March Super Trax at the Z - who all's going?
When my fellow Nelspruit 86'er said he's going tracking, how can I resist

I've been trying to do 1 track day a month, and I'm nearly there.
The 15th will be track day #14 since January 2014, so I'm 1 short.
