On decel, if you give ~1%-5% throttle (not enough to even open the throttle plate) the exhaust will crackle/pop/bang.... its very amusing, can't wait to try it in downtown Chicago lol

Big day. Started with my rear subframe bushing kit. Then on to the spc lowers, cam bolts and Sportlines. After the alignment things feel pretty good. Much less squat on accel and flatter corners. ill be looking for some twisty roads in the morning to have fun with. any recommendations?

so, kind of feel like a lucky idiot. on my way back home from the alignment i started thinking that i didnt remember putting away my wheel lock key after torquing the wheels. sure enough after getting back and searching the garage the key is missing. walked the half mile or so out of the neighborhood trying to find it. nothing. pretty much gave up and decided its gone. today i go get dinner at the same place i got lunch yesterday and what do i see, right at the head of my usual spot?.. just sitting there waiting for me... i doubt ill ever do that again.

I spotted a Gray BRZ on a Army Trail at about 4:50pm today. I was in a black FRS, and I waved.

I didn't get a wave back...

I'm coming back next Sunday morning. I wanna check out your car and Eric's car! I probably won't have time then, but maybe I'll come back through to Chicago sometime for a JDMC meet or something soon! We can all meet up then!

Sunday is actually a great day for me because I don't work. I usually can't make the meets due to them being held on fridays and saturdays (the life of a bartender). I'm also just off 294 so you're 5 minutes from my house as you head back south.

Issue with Sunday is that I'm flying in at 8am and need to leave to Urbana by 9-10am.

We can try for another weekend. It is warming up, so perhaps we can organize a Sunday 86 Meet/Cruise and get all the Chicago guys together!

Touge is going to have a meet in May that will get a lot of us together. We were talking about it on the Upper midwest facebook group a little bit ago. I'm pretty sure they will post something here when it gets closer to the date.
