Got it yanked out 12 hours ago, I'm home now.
Whatever the hospital gave me when they did the CT scan turned my guts into a waterpark

Also I vaguely remember waving at an FRS with toyota badges on 31st and La Grange road friday while on my way to the hospital lol

I know the car had an exhaust and I think the driver waved back, either asphalt or raven

How much power do you make with that supercharger?

Never got a dyno. Others with the same supercharger can get anywhere from 220-260 whp depending on the tune. If I had to guess I think I am around 245-250. Plenty for the street IMO.
Was thinking about upgraded pulley and E85 to make 300+, but I want to keep the clutch/drivetrain stock and have reliability above all else

So you never dyno tuned? I take it you were a provided a map from vortech? You wouldn't happen to be running a wideband to keep track of your AFR's?

Lol sorry for all the questions. In curious about supercharging.

I initially had an ecutek tune from visconti, I am now running an FA20club tune

It really depends on which vendor you buy from, if you buy from vortech they have a base tune but it is for a completely stock car plus supercharger... I had a borla UEL and full exhaust plus I got the package on sale from a vendor so I went with their tune. I also don't think vortech offers tune updates/tweaks via datalogging either.

Whichever tuning vendor you go with will send you a basemap to get it running, you then need to datalog (3rd gear WOT, 1-6 gears normal acceleration) so they can see that your setup is running properly. They will then tweak your tune to make sure you are not getting knock, make sure your air/fuel is fine, and enable the racerom features you want. May I suggest this http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46387
You will need an ECUTEK license and an ecutek cable (you can borrow the cable from anyone who has an ecutek tune) on top of that. You don't NEED injectors/fuel pump, I am running stock fueling with no problems... although the extra headroom of injectors/pump couldn't hurt.

My tuned my previous turbo car on the street with Kpro so I am a believer that you can get a safe tune via datalogging.

I might throw it on a dyno for fine tuning eventually, but its not high on my priority list... I checked my Airfuel with an innovate wideband sensor and they were close/identical to the factory sensor so I uninstalled it as it was not needed

I installed it myself, and expect to pay anywhere from 4000-4300 on the supercharger package, more if you want the ecutek license/cable bundled with it.

To get it installed you may pay anywhere from 800-1500 depending on the shop.... I would call around for quotes. I will recommend Touge Factory as I know someone working there and I think they have an FRS shop car, as well as P&L motorsports as they have an FRS shop car as well.

Maybe some others could chime in on shops as well
