De badged the rear. Had the holes filled and garnish repainted by a local body shop.

I really liked the factory hood, but could really use some vents to help keep the engine bay cool. Installed the Seibon DV style Carbon Fiber hood.

Seibon hood fits great! The sides don't sit all the way down on the front if you're running just the factory latch, but with hood pins it's perfect.

Today's update. CX Racing finished installing the production version of their new turbo kit. 1.9" runners, 3" downpipe, T3 60 trim ball bearing turbo. I know people have mixed opinions about CX products, but I can honestly say that the quality of the kit is amazing. It really shows that they took their time to make everything fit as it should.

The car is going to Delicious Tuning this upcoming Wednesday, where we will be tuning for 15 psi.

The car will be featured at 86Fest this weekend, so make sure to come take a look!

I wish, I'll probably only run 101 once a month or so. Otherwise 10 psi on 91.

Tuned for 10 PSI yesterday, couldn't go any higher because the clutch was slipping too bad. Upgrading the clutch then we'll go from there

So how is this kit holding up for you? I am just wonder how you like the kit so far, for the time price I assume you can't beat it. I know CX Racing makes some nice kits for 240's just wonder how this kit is for our 86's.

Everything is great so far, no problems whatsoever. CX makes good stuff, a friend of mine prototyped an IS300 with them last year and it has taken lots of abuse with no problems. So far the FR-S/BRZ kit seems the same.

My only complaint is that the conical air filter CX Racing used was too wide and rubbed on the inside of the front bumper. Replaced it with a longer, more narrow air filter and the problem was solved.

For what it's worth, I am not sponsored by CX Racing and am in no way obligated to say good things about them. My car was used as a prototype and in return I was given the final production turbo kit.

So far, I've had a good experience with the kit. I've put almost a thousand miles on it and haven't had any problems.
