You are correct, According to Ichitaka the TRD is bolted on and will cover the holes left by the limited spoiler but you will have to drill other holes into the trunk to install.

According to Moto san, the Five axis spoiler is held on with double sided tape and will not cover the original holes left by the BRZ limited spoiler.

I would suggest if you are buying a BRZ Limited then get the TRD spoiler. If you're getting an FR-S/BRZ premium then go with the Five axis spoiler unless you really want to drill holes in your trunk.
