Nope. The tune is still there. All you did was effectively reset learning so expect your idle to a bit a little more lumpy until it re-learns. Same with throttle response (initial dead spot) until it re-learns too.

Shiv, I think this proves how little doco the OFT has. The first night I had mine I tried upgrading the dev file, with generated tunes still on the tablet. Then I was up until 3am trying to fix it. I blew one of my erases in the process because I was trying everything. Finally uninstalling openflash manager fixed it. Even if there was just a wiki we could maintain it would be better than than answering the same questions over and over because the answers only exist in 6 month old threads, for previous versions.

They are there and you will love them. Check steve99's thread on it. You use the Stg2 EL 85 map.

I think that is a great idea. I have never maintained a wiki before though. I can certainly contribute though

Thanks guys wasn't sure if the EL 85 was the right one . I appreciate all the info on here but some of it just goes way over my head . PS wayno took me many hours to work out how to add a tune as well. Still get lost in how Rom Raider works (which is probably a good thing could do some real damage there).

Yes. OFT is all up to date. I see nothing for adv multiplier, but I see some odd values for KC.

The values will start going up as I put more load, and the values stay consistent.

Please note that this OFT was converted from being registered to a N54 platform. I have the OFT cleared, with the FT86 upgrade template, and fully up to date.

I cant seem to find anything about this, either i suck at searching or I am just over thinking things.

It was mentioned that we NEED to use the new XML files for the 2.x maps to work but i did not see any way to specify designate them to be used? Does the program just know to look beside the tune folder for the XML or is there a step that I am missing to update my 1.x tune to 2.x tune

You only need the XML files for editing. If you're just trying to load the new maps into your oft, just upload them as usual.

Hey guys! I got mine yesterday. The first thing I did was plug it in to OFM and let it do its thing. (I assume it was updating).

After that I flashed the Stage 1 tune onto my car. It feels great, but at 3900 to about 4400 RPM I get a ticking noise. Is this normal? I remember another user had this on his supercharged FRS, but it was a Perrin tune, IIRC.

Other than the AVC tick, the car feels brand new and incredible. Should I have updated the tablet after I read my car's tune?

The growl or change in induction noise is normal around 4000 rpm

you will need to download and apply the new template file via opeen flash manager software or you logging will not work instruction on open flash download page
