The diffuser might be better because it causes less drag than a wing.

Adding aero/downforce is the last thing you do to a prepped race car. On the street it's basically worthless. Even occasional to moderate track duty your money is better spent elsewhere.

Now, if you're just going for looks have at it.

I meant changing suspension might solve it too?

Lowering can help by letting less air under the car, but suspension won't reduce lift. It's purely an aero thing.

But isn't wing could hold down the car better than diffuser?

Yep, mechanical grip first, aero grip second.

Too general of a statement. What wing, and what diffuser? what drag penalty are you willing to take?

A diffuser is much more efficient, ie L/D (Lift/Drag), actually underbody in general. With less hp/tq, you're better off to stay as efficient as you can with the aero. That said, with the right wing, you could gain more, and drive the diffuser to work better, and not suffer too much additional drag. It's all compromises.

Tbh, I'm mainly going for the looks, but kind of had this thread started to know any possible consequences street-wise of aero parts (besides being judged, lol). But all the information I got was really awesome. I was on GTA telling my friends "GUISE. A WING DOESNT NECESSARILY MAKE THE CAR FASTER!!!11oneone"

I'm not gonna lie, proper aero is sexy on the twins. Rear diffuser and wing won't affect dd'ing the car, but once you start messing with a front splitter you will have clearance issues especially when lowered. Just be careful.
