Well that's their choice...no one forced them to be cops so that they can lock up and bother the people and enforce rules/laws made by shady and crooked politicians and corporations.
If you're looking for trouble, there's more of a chance you're gonna get in trouble obviously. Leave the people alone and all will be fine. But hey, at least you can shoot first and kill people and get away with it if you're a cop ....nice perk I guess they can get used to and abuse free willingly ![]() "Ignorance is America's worst enemy" ....and, the enemy is obviously winning more and more everyday |

I'm actually in my mid 30s and have lived in major cities all over the US...so I am aware and not ignorant like the majority of Americans.
But hey...if you want to take sides with the fuzz, and everything bad that comes from them, then so be it. Diff strokes...we are all entitled to free speech and I'm just voicing my feelings and opinion. Once someone doesn't feel free to voice opinion, even if it's against the norm (like me having bad opinions about the police), then what does that really mean? I'm sure it means that the government and police have brainwashed us so thoroughly to the point of being Scared to voice anything else that isn't acceptable to them. That doesn't sound like freedom at all to me - to be controlled and only allowed certain things/beliefs (sounds a bit like North Korea). I find it funny when people get offended for me bad talking about the police. It's like you're defending all the bad that comes with it too. I'm sure your opinion will change once they give you the shaft. Last edited by Food; 08-13-2014 at 04:57 AM. |

I'm not trying to be "edgy" lol...I'm just not conforming to mainstream society and doing everything someone else says I should be doing (ie..being forced to do something someone else says to do).
My point is...it's okay to talk crp on cops; it could be jokes or serious talk. It's funny how this day and age people are sooo scared of cops that they can't even state their own true opinions. People let cops talk sht and pick on them all the time; but at the same time, they would never do the same thing back to them. Smh I have a few friends that are cops and some trying to be cops too. One was a captain(iirc) for swat in the 909 area. His face got blown off during a raid. He was a decent guy and funny; he loved getting hookers, drinking and doing drugs excessively. |

I've never had any bad experiences with police, because I've managed to avoid them. That said - I don't trust the police for the most part. Always record all interactions with them. These guys will trample over your civil rights in a split second if you question their authority.

If the op wants to be a cop...then that's good and I applaud him. It's a good stable career and a good path in life in terms of income and job pride/passion. I was just stating my opninion on cops, laws, government and America in general.
Yes...what I write is propaganda. But propaganda is being fed to us everyday and every minute through TV, commercials, radio, billboards, magazines, etc. There two sides to propaganda - the sht on TV being force fed to us every minute and brainwashing us, and the other side that is never televised and focuses on the blurred/forgotten realities in life (shady government, crooked cops, poverty, segregation, racial issues, equality, etc., etc). It's your decision which type of propaganda you believe is truly "good" and which is evil. ...and guess which side is winning??? Yup....easily, the big money corporations and bs news channels brainwashing us every darn second. Whereas, the other side won't ever be heard and is rarely heard, unless seeked out to books, teachers, friends and other people. No one will get it instantly. Change doesn't happen over night nor in an instant. It's a slow and long process. |

Not once have I had a problem with cops and I've been pulled over a lot, but I only got one speeding ticket and probably 2 fix it tickets. Just show respect and you'll get respect

Not necessarily... If you have brown or black or yellow skin...there's a good chance you'll get pulled over and treated unfairly.
And it's not really "showing respect"....it's more like "dressing prim and proper and white." Maybe a nice pink polo shirt, fit khakis, loafers and a normal haircut - that's "showing respect." If you dress "hiphop"/black, like a punk rocker, a hippie, shabby, etc, there's a very good chance you will not get the same respect as the polo/khaki wearing dbag from a cop. Cops are trained to judge, discriminate, alienate and classify people. It is truly the government's goal to homogenize america, ridding of all things with culture and color and anything out of what's "normal" in their opinion (ie: polo shirt, khakis, etc)....that is "showing respect" |

Maybe you should move out of America then since you seem to dislike it so much.
